YILING (CLARE) LIU

I finished my Bachelor of Commerce at USYD last year.

The most impressive experience is to prepare for the exhibition All Fresh at InterContinental Double Bay. I got the chance to try different tasks, designing, work hanging, marketing and attending the Opening. At the Opening night, I found it amazing to see the result reflecting the team’s effort put in. Also, as a Chinese in Australia, it was awesome to see those wonderful artworks, all by great Chinese artists, placed at one exhibition. I enjoyed the exhibition as well as the working experience with the staff in the gallery.

I will continue to get myself involved in art to develop my skills, volunteering in galleries and museums. At the end of this year, I will follow my passion for art and work at China Cultural Centre in Sydney as a program assistant. Besides working, I also plan to study the Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership program at UNSW Art & Design next year.
